Lindo Guadalajara: Your Go-To Destination for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Chicago

Great late night Mexican food option. Food was hot and fresh. It was ready pretty quickly, too. Good prices.

Negative reviews here have no couth. The food is impeccable and always served by the most lovely folks. If you're coming here for "ambiance," give me a break. This is classic Chicago, so delicious, and always open. A neighborhood staple. Be grateful for Lindo Guadalajara because i know i am.

I'd give this place closer to a 3.5 due to some inconsistencies with their food. I only order pickup here (this isn't really an ambiance sort of place haha). I actually really enjoy their pozole but their burritos tend to be inconsistent with their ratio of meat / rice / veggies. Service is always very quick which I really appreciate! I'm honestly most thankful this place is 24/7 and can satisfy that late night burrito craving.

Passed the melanin test with flying colors so we weren't allowed to get complementary chips. Fair, honestly. Burrito I got was good. There was one lady running the front of the house on what I think was a weekend. Very strange. But yeah they don't few blacks here.

Had a taste for a burrito and Lindo Guadalajara did not disappoint. The family and I ordered to go. The lady at the counter was nice and helpful. The restaurant is more spacious than I thought. They have an ample amount of seating and they have dine in table service. We all enjoyed the food and I'll definitely go again. I was glad to see they are 24 hours. That will definitely come in handy in the future. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, I do recommend Lindo Guadalajara.

Is Lindo Guadalajara a secret unrecognized Michelin Bib Gourmand? Of course not. It's an all-night Mexican diner. They will make you a ridiculous omelette at 3 AM, with a side of wilted lettuce and a bit of refried beans topped with "cheese". My Spanish is absolute garbage, but it's mostly enough here. I've been coming here since college, and I don't intend to quit any time soon. Look. Places like this don't last this long unless their customers are dedicated to something besides some kind of objective greatness. The food is tasty enough for my caucasity, authentic enough that many patrons are folks I can't eavesdrop on, and filling enough to justify the (reasonable) prices. It's an institution, a beacon of hope, a tile-covered icon of a time I genuinely miss. I hope it stays open till the sun goes out. So if you're looking to experience la auténtica cocina jaliscience, you might be disappointed. But if you just want Mexican breakfast at an inappropriate hour, served by kind and experienced folks who frankly deserve better than they've gotten in life, I would grab you by the shoulders and walk you here myself, from as far away as Southport Corridor or Evanston. Is it heaven? No. It's Lindo Guadalajara.
